Today our best practice tip comes from Tiffany Blakney, Food Service Director at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.

"I want my team to understand the numbers. I want them to know what it means when I say 'we hit our numbers.' During our weekly manager's meeting, I select a manager to explain the financials for the previous week and then all the managers give a suggestion as to how we can do better this week."
