Our recipe for success

Our Mentor Manager program is one of our latest programs!  The purpose of the program is to assist new managers with the on-boarding transition process.  Unlike other companies, where the Human Resources Department conducts the onboarding process, our approach is different.  Our approach, or our recipe for a successful program is simple—we believe in our people.  That's why we selected some of our best managers to train our incoming team members.

Have you ever walked into a store and thought "wow, this place looks amazing?"  Well, you may have been in one of Najat's retail locations.  If not, then that's what you'll say when you really do see them.

 

Oh, and you'd better have plenty of energy to keep up with Najat. She drinks energy (a.k.a. coffee) all day long to operate the three retail locations at Bowie State University.

 

Yes, We're Bragging: Najat is fluent in three different languages!  So we can tell her she's awesome in English, French, and Arabic.

This program encourages team building and forges relationships between new and existing managers to ensure not only the new team member's success, but the success of the entire team.

There is a strict selection process.  All applicants will be judged on their tenure with Thompson Hospitality, their experience, and their potential to train new managers.  The Vice President of Operations and the Chief Operating Officer will make all final decisions regarding membership into this program.
